Buyer's Premium & Payment Terms

Titled Vehicles 

NEW LOWER BUYER"S PREMIUM FOR THIS AUCTION
10% buyer's premium for vehicles up to and including $5000.

5% buyer's premium for vehicles between $5001 to $15,000.

3% Buyers Premium for vehicles $15,001 and up.

At the conclusion of the auction, $515 deposit per vehicle ($500 plus $15 credit card fee) will be charged to your credit card on file at the close of the auction. The balance of the purchase price is due in cash or certified funds such as a certified bank check or wire transfer. NO Personal Checks or any out of state checks will be accepted.

Simulcast Auction

Important: Just because you have the high bid online at the start of the auction does not mean you cannot be outbid once the lots go live at the live auction. Please place your MAX bids early and the system will bid on your behalf up to your maximum amount.  You can continue to bid online during the live auction.

No Extended Bidding or Soft Close during Simulcast Auctions

During a Simulcast auction, once the lot goes live the sale is conducted by the live Auctioneer.  The Auctioneer will take bids from the live onsite audience as well as internet bidders. Once the bidding has stopped advancing and Auctioneer announces the item is SOLD, the bidding will close immediately.  This is different from our online only timed auctions which have a 2 min bid extension or soft close.  If a vehicle does not meet the seller's reserve, that lot will not be sold and will be marked as "Passed" on the bidding website.
 

Bidder Responsibility & Binding Contract
By registering and placing a bid, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Binding Agreement: When you place a bid, you are entering into a binding contract to pay the full purchase price plus buyer's premium.

No Bid Retractions: Bids are final and cannot be retracted or canceled. Be certain of your bid amount before placing your bid. No Refunds: All sales are final. Once a bid is placed, there will be no refunds, cancellations, or returns. Please be certain of your bid and bid amounts before placing a bid. Bid retractions or cancelations will not be accepted.

AS IS, WHERE IS: All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults, if any, and without any warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied. It is the bidder’s sole responsibility to inspect the items and determine their condition before placing a bid.
No Rescission Rights: The highest bidder will have no right of rescission and no rights to refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.

Inspection & Condition of Items
Inspection: It is the responsibility of each bidder to inspect the items before placing a bid. By bidding, you acknowledge that you are satisfied with the condition of the items.
Final Sale: The auction company does not accept returns or offer refunds for any purchases. All sales are final. All items are sold AS-IS with no guarantee.

By registering for the auction, you hereby agree that there will be no refunds and agree relinquish any right to credit card charge backs. All sales are final and the highest bidder has no right of rescission and no refund or exchange rights. Since all items and equipment are being sold "AS IS - WHERE IS", it means that the purchaser is buying "with all faults" and without any warranty or guarantee of any type, expressed or implied. Any information regarding the item provided by the seller is for convenience only. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect and investigate condition prior to bidding. Geyer Auction Companies expressly disclaims the accuracy of information such as mileage, hours, engine size, fuel type, model numbers, capacities, quantities, condition, drivability, operability, etc.

State Laws & Regulations
This auction is conducted under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania. By placing a bid, you agree to abide by all applicable laws and regulations. A bid in this auction constitutes a legally binding contract.

Credit Card Issues / Non-Payment 
If we are unable to successfully charge a deposit your credit card at the close of the auction, whether for the deposit or for the full amount, your purchases will be forfeited. In addition, you will be flagged as a non-paying bidder across all our platforms, Bidwrangler, Hibid, Proxibid, and the Pennsylvania Auctioneers Association, and will be banned from future auctions.

Onsite Title Transfers

All title transfers will be handled onsite by our licensed PennDOT notary. Applicable title transfer fees apply and must be paid directly to the notary at the time of transfer. NO open titles will be given out under any circumstances.

Sales Tax: Sales tax will be paid directly to PennDOT at the time of title transfer for Pennsylvania residents.

Sales Tax: 6% of the sale price (for PA residents)
Title Fee: $72 (PA)
Registration Fee: Applicable rate per vehicle (PA)
County Fee: $5 (if applicable)

Title & Registration Service Fees:
Clerical/Processing Fee: $120
Notary Fee: $10
Messenger Fee: $20
Online Fees: $21 (if applicable)

Out-of-State Residents:
Clerical Fee: $30

PAYMENT TERMS OF VEHICLE PURCHASE(S): Cash, cashier’s checks, certified funds, company/dealer check with a bank letter of guarantee.  10% Buyers Premium will be added automatically upon settlement and payable without relief to the auction company. Sales tax is governed by where you title the vehicle.
